Webisode Public Beta

Hello,

Thanks again to all of you for participating in our beta. Your feedback has helped us prepare Webisode for the next stages of development as our beta testing period comes to a close.

Please note that the latest version of the Webisode beta software is set to expire on Tuesday, January 15th. At that point, you can simply remove Webisode from your machines in the “Add and Remove Programs” section of your Control Panel. For SageTV users, you can also restore your application package to “SageTV3.xml” to remove Webisode from your interface.

It would be extremely helpful to us if you could take a minute to let us know what you thought of Webisode; both good and bad. Tell us how well it worked for you, if you were able to use it as you intended to, and what we can do to make it better.

The beta forums will remain open for you to give us your feedback and suggestions. You can also email us at beta@webisode.com with your feedback. For the next public version of Webisode, we will be working on the following features:

  1. A Vista-friendly user interface for Webisode – so that it looks like the rest of Windows Media Center
  2. Menu improvements – easier navigation of ready-to-view videos and available downloads (suggestions are welcome)
  3. Webisode plug-in compatible with SageMC

Thanks again for participating in our beta testing. We look forward to your feedback and providing you with a better version of Webisode in the near future. In the meantime, we will notify you when a new version becomes available.
